The text for the switch is ACAD, ACA, MEP, and ACADM. The /product switch governs which program loads, since the same acad.exe is used for all of them. With AutoCAD 2013, Architecture, MEP, and Mechanical all install to the same folder. It could have been an oversight with the Help files, but that switch is not supposed to be manipulated by the user, so that may be why there is no mention of it.

So I contacted Autodesk support and Bryce replied with the following: So, this is either a defect with the documentation (help file) or they left it out on purpose (defect = As designed). The "un-cool" thing, there isn't any documentation on it. product ACAD and /product ACA and /product acadm I've seen this new switch for AutoCAD, Mechanical and Architectural. "C:\Program Files\Autodesk\AutoCAD 2013\acad.exe" /p > /product ACADM /language "en-US" So, you install AutoCAD and Mechanical and it creates the shortcut icon and the properties show this new startup switch called "/product" With 2013, you install (I believe from the suites) and it installs the programs into one AutoCAD folder, but uses a startup switch to load the appropriate files!

With each program taking up say 1.5 GB that's a whopping total of 4.5 GB. It used to be if you installed AutoCAD, AutoCAD Mechanical, and AutoCAD Architecture that you'd have 3 different folders, one for each program. Now this is really cool! Saves a TON of hard disk space too.
